India Pesticides Limited has its own R&D department to the development of innovative chemical technologies for speciality and bulk AgroChemicals and Bulk Drugs.

With its focussed R&D effort in the recent past , it has been able to improve the process conditions for existing products resulting in better product and has developed process conditions for other Agrochemicals of large usage. Development of technology for Mancozeb 2,4,5, Trichloroaniline, DDVP, Chlorpyriphos, Quinalphos, Captan, Folpet, Thiophosgene and Tolnaftate etc. are some of the major contribution of the R&D efforts.

At present pilot plant work is being done for Phosphomedon Tech, Quinalphos Tech, Proferophos Tech, Thio Phenol Methyl Tech, Carbendizam product. Experimental work on lab-scale is going on for folpet,4-Cap, Thiophenate Methyl.

The unit is well supported my qualified scientific and technical staff duly supported and guided by visiting consultants.
